100th Anniversary of Women in Law Enforcement
Working with the Los Angeles Women Police Officers and Associate (LAWPOA), Faircount has just completed production of a special commemorative magazine for the centenary of women in law enforcement. Going back to 1910, Alice Stebbins Wells was the first sworn policewoman with full arrest powers. Working closely with LAWPOA Faircount has produced a concise history of the growth in the role of women in law enforcement. Stories include:"Legendary Ladies", "From the Patrol Car to the Chief's Chair", "First Woman to Land LAPD SWAT Assignment" plus many others.
